Is Mavoya a dating app?+
No. Mavoya is a social app for cultural exchange and friendship. No gender-based matching, no "swipe like/dislike" dating pattern. We connect people by target countries and languages.
Is it free?+
Yes, downloading and using Mavoya is 100% free. An optional Premium subscription will be offered later to unlock bonus features.
Which countries is Mavoya available in?+
Everywhere the Apple App Store and Google Play are accessible. At V1 launch, the interface is in French, English and Thai.
Is my data resold?+
No. Never. We don't sell any data to third parties. GDPR-compliant EU hosting (Supabase eu-west-1 + Vercel).
Why do I need to record a video?+
To guarantee only real people are in the community. The video is manually reviewed by our team within 24h.
Can I delete my account?+
Yes, anytime from Settings > Delete my account. Everything is wiped permanently.
How do I report inappropriate behavior?+
A "Report" button is on every profile, video, and comment. We process reports within 24h.
Can I block someone?+
Yes, from their profile, "Block" button. The person can no longer see or contact you.
